Hulled millet is produced by removing the indigestible outer husk from the grains of millet plants, specifically yellow and red millet varieties. The Latin name for millet is Panicum miliaceum. This process involves carefully dehulling the millet grains to preserve their nutritional value and ensure a soft texture suitable for cooking.
